GradeBook Features

Core Features
These features are available with a standard GradeBook license:
GradeBook Management
- Create & View GradeBooks: Set up new GradeBooks and access existing ones
- Views and Sorting: Customize how grades are displayed and organized
Import & Attendance
- Import from Google Classroom: Sync students, assignments, and grades from Google Classroom
- Attendance: Track student attendance and participation
Reports
– Generate Reports: Create comprehensive student progress reports as Google Docs – Send Reports: Email reports to students and guardians
Utilities
- Reset Options: Reset configuration settings to defaults
- Fix Grades: Repair broken formulas and recalculate grades
- Copy GradeBook: Duplicate GradeBooks for new terms or sections
Support
- Customer Support: Access subscription details and customer support
- Send Obfuscated GradeBook: Share diagnostic data with support team
Premium Features
These features require a premium subscription:
- Import from CSV: Import grades from CSV files exported from Google Classroom
- Report Logo: Add custom logos to generated reports
- Performance Colors: Customize color schemes based on grade performance
Premium features require both a valid license and an active premium subscription. Purchase or upgrade at Gdev Apps.
Feature Requirements
Most GradeBook features have specific requirements:

Quick Reference
Opening a Feature
- Click Extensions in the Google Sheets menu
- Select GradeBook
- Choose the feature from the menu or submenu
Common Workflows
Setting up a new course:
- Create & View GradeBooks → Create new GradeBook
- Import from Google Classroom → Import students and assignments
- Views and Sorting → Customize display
Generating and sending reports:
- Generate Reports → Select students and configure options
- Send Reports → Email reports to recipients
Managing attendance:
- Attendance → Mark attendance for selected date
- Generate Reports → Include attendance in student reports
